Garofano decoration

In the Garofano decoration a flowery garden with a blue lawn is represented with a carnation flower in the center reworked according to the ceramic tradition of Faenza.

The Garofano decor is one of the "chinoiserie" of the Ferniani Factory in Faenza, which began producing ceramics with this decoration in 1767. Still today, the Garofano is the most famous and widespread traditional Faenza decoration .
