The flowers of this composition are painted by brush, respecting the traditional technique of painting on majolica. 

This multicolored and harmonious collection of daffodils, bluebells and wildflowrs is inspired by Flemish still-life paintings and is finely painted by hand with accuracy and attention to the nuances of color that make each flower unique. 

The blue background is also laid by brush, by filling each single space between the flowers. The "Faenza blue" is a color particularly dense and opaque, giving the ceramic of Faenza its typical consistency.
