Flowerpot holder with ring handles decorated by Raphaelesque style, also suitable as a centerpiece.
The Raphaelesque is a very elaborate decoration that owes its name to the great painter Raphael. In the sixteenth century Raphael painted a stylized dragon, symbol of benevolence and fortune, which has become one of the recurring elements of the Raffaellesco style. In addition to the dragon we find wreaths and floral patterns.
In the two medallions scenes of rural life are represented: these are the points that require the greatest pictorial commitment of the ceramist.
This ceramic is a unique piece: it is our care not to produce other pieces with the same scenes and decorations.
