Plate ø 31 cm Melograno

Ornamental wall plate richly decorated in classical "Melograno" style (Pomegranate).

This design dates back to the begining of the 20th century and is inspired by the pomegranate fruits.

The pomegranates are symbols of fecondity and prosperity which can be found in several cultures.

It is hand painted with deep blue color and finished with pure gold strokes which requires an additional firing.
