Hand-painted ceramic vase with ornate leaves and flowers in blue background.

This Raphaeleque style is typical in the ceramics of Faenza during the second half of the nineteenth century when many artists - first of all Achille Farina - will be challenged to paint on the stove.

In the decoration it is inserted a large cartouche within which is loosely hand-painted shooting a romantic scene from the painting by Antoine Watteau "Song of Love".
