Round majolica box hand-decorated in Persian Palmette style, ideal for desks and living rooms and as a container for sweets or chocolates.

The Persian Palmette style is a fifteenth-century style spread throughout central Italy, including Faenza: the ceramists of the time, inspired by the motifs of oriental fabrics, conceived this decoration centered on a flower with petals resembling a pine cone.
