Box 20 cm for Biscuits

Hand-painted cookie bowl in the traditional Faentine “Peacock Feather Eye” style, also known simply as Pavona.

This ceramic box is also decorated on the lid and can be used both as a box for biscuits and as a piece of furniture. The Pavona decoration incorporates a theme of ancient Eastern origin that alludes to the rising sun; in Christian culture it symbolizes resurrection.
