Centerpiece ø 35.5 cm Persian Palmette

Majolica centerpiece with 3 handles molded by hand and richly decorated by hand in Persian Palmette style.

The Persian Palmette decoration, in use in Faenza since the fifteenth century, in this unique piece presents clovers, rosettes and “pinecone” flowers, together with geometric decorations and stylized plants with fruits and leaves.

The centerpiece, decorated inside, on the edge and outside, is embellished with 3 ornamental handles, also hand painted.

Dimensions: diameter 35.5 cm, maximum overall dimensions 37 cm (including handles), height 13 cm.
