Ideal for a child’s bedroom, the cherub is a symbol of protection, beauty and devotion; its wings recall its celestial nature and express speed and power.

Cherubim are present in the three great monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Considered creatures very close to God and sometimes represented as guardians of Eden and the throne of God, in the Middle Ages they were included in the first hierarchy of celestial spirits, immediately after the seraphim; Dante mentions them in Canto XXVIII of Paradiso.
