Hand-painted Faenza ceramic table lamp with Berrettino decoration.

The Berrettino decoration features festoons and love knots that enclose small groups of flowers and fruit, and is characterised by a blue-grey background enamel. This type of decoration is inspired by traditional Faenza decorations from the 1500s.

The lampshade (or hat) is made of white fabric and is plasticised on the inside to make cleaning easier. (In the photo it is covered with nylon to protect it from dust).
