The Red Garofano is a particular monochromatic variation of the famous Faenza Garofano decoration. The idea of ​​proposing the Garofano by replacing the usual polychromy with shades of a single colour was that of the architect Gio Ponti, who produced the first examples in three shades of blue in the 1940s and 1950s.
