Vase 42 cm Melograno with swan handles

Slender ceramic vase, embellished with elegant swan-shaped handles and decorated in the Melograno of Faenza style.

The vase has two characteristic figures of the Melograno (Pomegranate): on one side the pomegranates, symbol of abundance and prosperity, on the other two pretty swallows, symbol of resurrection and the renewal of life.

Melograno is a decoration from Faenza born in the early 1900s, characterized by blue decoration and enriched by “third fire” pure gold brushstrokes.
