Vase 51 cm Amphora Pavona

Large majolica amphora decorated by hand in traditional style of Faenza “Pavona” (peahen).

This type of amphora with a handle was widely used in past centuries, when the water was drawn directly from the well. Decorated majolica amphorae like this were used by noble families of the time.

Dimensions: height 51 cm, maximum width 21 cm.
