Cachepot ø 35 cm Pavona

Hand-painted ceramic cachepot with Eye of the Peacock Feather decoration commonly known as “Pavona” (peahen).

This decoration of oriental origin recalls the feathers of the peacock and the rising sun; according to some sources his name is a tribute to the noble woman from Ferrara Cassandra Pavoni, protagonist of a rumored love story with the lord of Faenza Galeotto Manfredi.

Cachepot size: diameter 35 cm, height 22 cm.
