Ornamental hand painted ceramic plate, “Pavona” (peahen) style with geometric flower in the center.

The decoration of this dish plays with shapes, symmetries and colors, for example in the brim the alternation of the Pavona decoration (inspired by the peacock’s open tail) to the Persian Palmette (blue flowers in the shape of a pinecone) creates a pleasant contrast between warm colors and cold.
