Large ornamental plate in majolica with astorre in the center and decoration in Persian Palmette style in the brim.

The astorre is an imaginary bird, halfway between a goshawk and a heron, with a typical elongated neck (and in some cases intertwined with that of another astorre); it is thought that his name is a tribute to Astorre Manfredi, lord of Faenza.

The presence of a seed in the beak of the astorre, symbol of growth and fruitfulness, makes this plate an ideal gift for weddings, anniversaries and happy occasions in general.

Dimensions: 61 cm in diameter, 7 cm in height.
