Flemish flowers and colors on Faenza majolica

The flowers, small in size considering the diameter of the dish, are shaded in various colors and inspired by the Flemish tradition, but with a more modern palette.

The composition, dense and harmonious, combines roses, tulips, daffodils, violets, bluebells, lilies of the valley, carnations and other flowers in a multicolored fantasy on a blue background. Each flower is painted with a brush tip, according to the Faenza technique of painting on majolica.

The blue of the background has been distributed as a filler, always with the brush. Particularly dense and opaque, it gives body to the ceramic.

This is a unique and signed piece. It is our responsibility not to make other pieces with the same decoration.
