Ceramic relief of the Madonna della Seggiola, fully molded and painted by hand with the use of small brushes. 

This image of the Madonna and Child is inspired by the famous painting by Raphael stored at Palazzo Pitti in Florence. 

The Virgin is represented as tenderly embraces the baby Jesus.  The hairstyle, the drapery and the colors are typical of the Italian Renaissance.
