Apothecary Jar 30 cm Chamomile

Hand-painted apothecary jar with “Camomilla” (chamomile in Italian) in the cartouche. The “Pavona” (peahen) decoration is completely handmade, according to Faenza’s ceramic tradition.

This jar is designed to contain dried flowers of chamomile. Chamomile is known for its painfully sedative effects, but it is also used in the preparation of collars and collutors, or as a calming of nerve-like phenomena such as sciatica, lumbago or stiff neck.
