Apothecary jar 30 cm Lavender

Apothecary jar with lid, hand-painted in traditional style “Pavona” (Peacock) and with “Lavender” (Lavanda in Italian) in the title block.

The decoration “Pavona”, one of the classics of Faenza ceramics, is inspired by the eye located at the end of the peacock feather.

Lavender, plant whose properties were already known to the ancients, is widely spread by its balsamic, antiseptic and vulnerary properties on the skin. Much also used in cosmetics to perfume the body and environments, or as a relaxant.
