Ceramic jar with lid for angelica, of the “pharmacy” type. The majolica is hand-decorated in Pavona style, according to the Faenza ceramic tradition. The writing “Angelica” appears inside a cartouche, near the foot of the vase.

Among the many qualities of angelica, known to promote digestion, counteract appetite and bloating of the stomach, recent studies attribute it to antioxidant properties that promote longevity.
