Apothecary Jar 39 cm Marigold

Hand-painted ceramic apothecary jar with Pavona decoration and “Calendula” (Marigold) writing on the scroll.

This particular shape of the vase, called albarello, is typical of pharmacy jars and seems to imitate the shape of the bamboo cane.

Marigold is a typical plant of the Mediterranean area and is mainly used for its anti-inflammatory properties for external use.
