Apothecary jar 35 cm Gentiana

Hand-painted “pharmacy” vase for Gentiana with Garofano of Faenza decoration.

The Garofano (carnation), one of the traditional decorations of the ceramics of Faenza, presents a reworking of the carnation of the Indies inserted in an oriental garden. Above the carnation stands the word “Genziana” (gentiana). The vase has a lid, also decorated.

Dimensions of the gentiana apothecary jar: height 35 cm, width 14 cm.
