Plate ø 40.5 cm Modigliana Fortress

Large hand-painted majolica plate with a design inspired by the 19th century Modigliana canvas: La Rocca, a work by the Faenza painter, designer and set designer Romolo Liverani.

This ceramic is a unique piece and is appreciated for the brightness of the majolica and the attention to detail, with the fortress of the Conti Guidi or of Modigliana, also called “Roccaccia”, which occupies a large part of the surface of a piece that is a real painting on majolica.

The plate is slightly concave, almost like a bowl, and designed to be hung on the wall.
