Plate ø 30 cm Raphaelesque

Ceramic ornamental plate of Faenza decorated by hand in “Raphaelesque” style.

The decoration in the center shows four colorful winged dragons holding an oval medallion. The medallion is the most valuable detail of this plate: though small in size, it shows a man working with a hoe under a large tree, a woman hanging clothes and an old farmhouse in the background. 

In the outer rim, three medallions depict deers in the wood.  Here too, according to traditional Raphaelesque style, the medallions are supported by winged dragons.

The plate can be hanged on the wall.
