Large ceramic plate, example of “Raphaelesque” decoration with scrolls enclosing small cherubs. In the center, a group of children inspired by the painting “The dance” by Jean Antoine Watteau.

The Raphaelesque decoration is painting on majolica: the figures, the branches, the cornucopias, the landscapes are chiaroscuro as in classical painting.

This, like every piece decorated in the Raphaelesque style, is a unique piece whose workmanship requires great commitment and many days of work.
