Plate ø 45.5 cm with scene

Great hand-decorated ornamental plate in Raphael style, with romantic scene in the middle. 

In the brim there are six medallions. Stand out the three cupids, finely decorated in typical attitudes (cupid with bow and arrow, the lyre and Cupid asleep). The other three medallions containing floral patterns. All around winged dragons and garlands intertwine, they play with the forms, framing and supporting the medallions.

The central scene depicting two young romantic attitudes, is the real focal point of the dish: brightly painted with the original design, the artist represents the maximum effort in the decoration.
